#5: Competition for Teacher Generated Materials: National Symbols / Grade 5

Overal Objective: Students will be able to use target vocabulary(tall,modern, beautiful, old…), degrees of  comparison and describe American and Georgian National Symbols.
Civic Education Objective: Students will be able to match symbols with the appropriate countries and names; They will find and compare similarities and differences about National Symbols.

Teacher sticks to board some symbols of defferent countries and students will match.

Teacher gives students  the simple text about national symbols and some questions from the text. Students try to answer  withtheir partner.

Teacher devides students into groups. They describe and compare national symbols.
