Handout 4
The topic was interesting for my
learners. The activities were suitable for my learners’ capacity.
In the first activity they enjoyed naming
the places after saying the definitions. They liked the symbols too which help
them to learn new vocabulary.
In the second activity (matching) all the
students were involved and they tried to find correct places. They helped each
others, and I also helped less confident students to explain again individually
some of the public places.
The students did the third activity more
quickly and easily. (choose the words from the boxes).
the last activity, assessment activity,
was an entertaining activity for my
students, they all drew the symbols on the map and most of them write the
sentences on it.
I feel that the lesson plan worked well,
there were scaffolding activities and the students step-by-step achieved the
objectives at the end of the lesson. The SWBA to draw and identify the symbols
with the public places.
The challenges in the lessons were
authentic materials (handouts made by myself) adopted to my learner’s needs and
they worked well.
