Overall Objective: By the end of the lesson students
will perform the understanding of symbols and will be able to speak about their
favourite weather using different adjectives and phrases. They will develop
their speaking skills.
Language Objective: Students will use vocabulary such as
weather, windy, sunny, cloudy, rainy. They will use the phrases: what is the
weather like? How’s weather today? etc.
Civic
Education Objective: Students
will identify the weather symbols, they will match them with the correct
picture and then will speak about their favourite season using weather symbols.
Class Context and Needs: There are 30 students in the class,
they are basic level learners. There are no students of special needs.
Materials: PPT, pictures, handouts, board,
laptop, pens, pencils.
Activities: Warm up, matching, pair work, group
work, asking and answering questions.
Assessment: Students speak about their favourite
season using weather symbols.
