Georgian National
Symbol
Georgia is one of the oldest countries in the world.
There are several important national symbols that we need to know.
Georgian flag has two colours – white and red. It
represents five red crosses. The colour of the crosses is red.
Georgian national symbol is also the statue of Kartlis
Deda.
The figure of Kartlis Deda holds a bowl in her left
hand and a sword in her right hand. The bowl for friends
and the sword for
the enemy.
Georgian National Dances are very popular all over the world.
“Sukhishvilebi” is the most famous National ensemble in Georgia.
And Georgian vine culture is very famous not only in
Georgia but in other
countries too.
