FAMILY, BODY, SENSES AND FEELINGS - STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS (FOR YOUNG LEARNERS)

How do I teach diversity and multiculturalism to young learners (and still stay in national curriculum!?!?!?) The national curriculum requires 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 graders (on different levels) to begin to use vocabulary related with family, body, the senses and feelings. Here you go! Use multi-ethnic images and images of different families. Use respectful images of disabled children for families and parts of the body, use vocabulary for the senses and feelings to express the ideas of respect, happiness and love for ourselves and everyone in our community.
